    The Prime Minister directed the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, today, Monday, to lift 3 checkpoints on the Karkh side of the capital, Baghdad.

    The Secretary-General of the Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief said, in a statement that Al-Nour News received a copy of, that “based on the Commander in Chief’s directive, the controls of Siham Al-Obeidi, Sayed Al-Milk and the entrance to Yarmouk will be lifted as of 2 pm today.”
    Lt. Gen. Muhammad Al-Bayati stated that "the checkpoints will be transferred to stations in coordination with the Baghdad Operations Command to reduce the traffic flow and facilitate the movement of citizens in the capital."
