    Today, Monday, the National Intelligence Service commented on the accusations leveled against him, after a number of its officers and employees were transferred to the Border Ports Authority.
    The agency stated in a statement received by the "National News Center", that it "has seen political statements that try to harm the reputation of the agency and undermine the dignity and patriotism of its officers and employees."
    He expressed "his surprise at such statements that transcend all natural contexts to deal with the sensitivity of the apparatus and the nature of its work, not to mention the challenge of its national affiliation, against the background of normal administrative procedures such as transferring a group of its members to another institution.
    The statement affirmed that "the officers and employees of the apparatus are soldiers loyal to their country in any location in which they work."
    He explained that "the aforementioned administrative procedure was carried out in accordance with this national and professional vision and in response to the request of the Border Ports Authority of the need for a group of elements to support the work of the outlets professionally and security."
    He expressed his regret for having to respond and clarify such unjust accusations from some political and media groups that are based on completely wrong information, and in a way that intersects with all customs and contexts in dealing with secrecy and sensitivity in the work of the intelligence services, as countries are proud of their intelligence services and refuse to put them in any Political and media controversy ”.
    He continued: “The agency confirms that it maintains its legal right to sue everyone who tries to undermine the dignity of its affiliates, and renews the covenant for our people to continue its national and constitutional duty to protect the security of Iraq and the supreme interests of our people.”
