[size=45]Rahim al-Aboudi, a member of the General Authority for the Wisdom Movement, explained in a statement to (Al-Mada) that "the rapprochement process between Saudi Arabia and Iran has developed a lot during the past few years after it witnessed continuous meetings and meetings between its intelligence services trying to discuss the files that will be presented to the table of understandings in the coming stages.[/size]
[size=45]Al-Mada revealed at the end of last March that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazimi, during his visit to Riyadh, had presented a mediation file to bridge the gap between Saudi Arabia and Iran and settle them in a meeting to be held in Baghdad with the participation of the United States.[/size]
[size=45]Al-Aboudi believes that "the rapprochement between the Turkish, Saudi and Egyptian sides somewhat delayed the talks and the state of rapprochement taking place between Saudi Arabia and Iran," indicating that "these dialogues require first discussion in the intelligence corridors and then discussed at the diplomatic level before presenting them at the leaders' meeting."[/size]

[size=45]Al-Aboudi expects that "a high-level diplomatic meeting in the capital Baghdad will bring together the Saudi and Iranian sides, who will discuss all differences and files in the form of a series of meetings."[/size]
[size=45]The Al-Kazemi government pursued a new foreign policy of non-alignment between Saudi Arabia and Iran. Iraqi prime ministers often schedule trips to Tehran and Riyadh together in order to show this balance.[/size]
