Badr Al-Ziyadi, a member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, revealed that talks were being held between Iraq and the team concerned with the maintenance of F-16 aircraft with the aim of the team remaining in Iraq.
Al-Ziyadi said that the company that handles maintenance of Iraqi F-16 aircraft withdrew its technical team from the Balad base, but the Iraqi side is now conducting negotiations to return the team to another military base inside Iraq, denying at the same time that the maintenance team is stationed in the Kurdistan region, indicating To the possibility that his return to one of the bases in the center or south of the country.
