    [size=45]The Central Elections Authority of the Kurdistan Democratic Party issued a statement welcoming the United Nations Resolution No. 2576, welcoming the efforts of the Iraqi government to hold early parliamentary elections.[/size]
    [size=45]The agency said in a statement: “Based on the firm and firm principle of the Kurdistan Democratic Party supporting the establishment of democracy in federal Iraq, since the party has been calling and struggling since its establishment in 1946 for the implementation of democracy in Iraq and the achievement of equality among all its people with all its components. The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) by United Nations Resolution No. (2576) issued at the recent UN Security Council session, which welcomed the efforts of the Iraqi government in preparing and planning for the implementation of the early parliamentary elections in a truly free and fair manner led by Iraqis on the ground so that they are inclusive of all and credible in terms of procedures and actual participation. .[/size]
    [size=45]The statement added, “As for the presence of international observers in the upcoming elections, the Kurdistan Democratic Party was proactive in calling for international observers in the parliamentary and presidential elections that took place in the Kurdistan Region in previous years, because the presence of international observers gives credibility to the elections and removes all doubts about its integrity.” The KDP Elections Authority welcomes the establishment of a United Nations team, reinforced by additional staff, to monitor the election day in Iraq with the widest possible geographical coverage and to report on the conduct of the elections to the Secretary-General of the United Nations.[/size]
    [size=45]And the statement added: “On the same level, the electoral body welcomes the positive position of the Group of Seven at its recent summit in Brussels, and its full support for the Security Council resolution and its call for the participation of international observers in the elections with the aim of helping to ensure the holding of free and fair elections on the tenth of October.” 2021 This is in addition to its call for all Iraqis to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections.”[/size]
