    {Political: Al Furat News} The President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, stipulated that the United Nations Population Fund should take into account the demographic change to conduct a scientific census of the population in the region and Iraq.

    A statement by his office, a copy of which was received by Al-Furat News, said that "Barzani received, today, Monday, the Deputy Executive Director of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Ibb Peterson and his accompanying delegation.
    During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance prospects for cooperation between the regional government and the United Nations Fund." The United Nations Population Council with the aim of sustainable population development, and the importance of putting an end to societal violence and improving the family situation as an important basis for building a healthy and healthy society.
    During the meeting, Barzani expressed "the Kurdistan Regional Government's readiness to support United Nations programs to achieve prosperity for the region's population and improve health, education and human resource development."
