Mubasher: The Iraqi government, during its meeting headed by Mustafa Al-Kazemi, today, Tuesday, issued a decision to complete the quorum of the National Oil Company’s board of directors.

In a press statement, the Iraqi government said that for the purpose of completing the quorum of the National Oil Company’s board of directors and carrying out its work, the Council of Ministers agreed to appoint the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Distribution Affairs Hamid Younis Al-Zoba’i, with the tasks of the first deputy for technical affairs in the National Oil Company in addition to his duties.
It was also decided to appoint the Director-General of the Legal Department, Laith Abdul-Hussein Al-Shaher, with the tasks of the second deputy for administrative, financial and legal affairs in the National Oil Company in addition to his duties.
The Cabinet agreed to delegate Finance Minister Ali Haider Abdul-Amir Allawi the authority to negotiate and sign a draft agreement to avoid double taxation and prevent tax evasion on income and capital between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the Republic of Ukraine, based on the provisions of Article (18/six). of the constitution.
The Council assigned the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to prepare the necessary authorization document on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Iraq for the Minister of Finance, according to the approved contexts, and submit it to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers in order to obtain the signature of the Prime Minister.
