The Central Bank of Iraq's sales fell tuesday to $214 million.
The central bank saw a 6.14% drop in sales to $214 million, $570,530 and $530,000, compared to Monday's sales of $228 million, 680,000 and $588,000, according to a Reporter for The Shafq News.
Purchases of $151 million, $190,000 and $530 million went to strengthen overseas balances in the form of remittances and credits, while the remaining $63 million and $380,000 went in cash.
Our correspondent noted that 32 banks have met requests to strengthen assets abroad, 18 banks to meet cash orders, in addition to the participation of 25 exchange companies.
