The price of Basra Light Crude achieved $3.27 profits during the past week, as energy markets witnessed a shortage of supplies in the face of an improvement in fuel demand as economic activities recovered from the consequences of the pandemic.
Basra crude rose in its last session before closing yesterday, Friday, by 46 cents, to reach $81.01 a barrel, to achieve weekly gains of $3.27, or the equivalent of 4.21%.
Meanwhile, Brent crude rose in its last session by 0.54% to reach $82.39, achieving profits of $3.11, or the equivalent of 3.92% in a week.
The US West Texas Intermediate crude was also settled, with a rise of 1.34%, to reach $79.35 a barrel, recording a weekly profit of $3.47, or 4.57%. Ended 29/A 4
