The United Nations representative in Iraq, Jeanine Plasschaert, confirmed, on Tuesday, that the demands of the October demonstrations still exist.
"The demands of the October demonstrators still exist," Plasschaert said in a briefing to the Security Council, which was followed by Mawazine News, noting that "the future of Iraq is ambiguous in light of the failure to implement reforms."
And it considered the attempt to assassinate Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, as "a targeting of the Iraqi state."
And she pointed out, "The risk of continuing the political blockage is real, as Iraq urgently needs a government that is able to deal quickly and effectively with a long list of unaccomplished local tasks, and this is the primary responsibility of all political parties concerned." Ended 29 / h
