{Political: Al Furat News} The Electoral Commission announced that the final results of the parliamentary elections have not yet been sent to the Federal Supreme Court for approval.
Commission spokeswoman Jumana al-Ghalay told {Euphrates News}: "The election results have not yet been sent to the Federal Court, and the Commission is in the process of sending it, but the time has not been set yet."
Al-Ghalay pointed out, "There is no legal period for the approval of the results from the Federal Court."
The Electoral Commission announced yesterday the final results of the parliamentary elections that took place on the tenth of last October, without a significant difference from the preliminary results.
While the coordinating framework - which includes Shiite forces - announced its rejection of the results and affirmed its determination to proceed with the appeal to the Federal Supreme Court to cancel it, expressing its hope that the court would move away from political influences and deal with objectivity, impartiality and fairness to the Iraqi masses and save their voices from being lost.
