The dollar rose, on Friday, amid a calmer tone broadly in the markets as concerns about the impact of the "Omicron" mutator eased.
The dollar index continued for a third day, up 0.03% to 96.117, and over the course of the week, the dollar was little changed, despite the sharp drop last Tuesday.
The money market has a high probability that the Federal Reserve will raise the target rate by a quarter point at its June meeting.
The dollar was down 0.09% to 113.10 yen on Friday, but that came after rising 0.4% overnight.
The euro was little changed at $1.13025, consolidating after dropping to a nearly 17-month low of $1.1186 last week.
The risk-sensitive Australian dollar fell 0.12 percent to $0.7084, in its fourth losing session. Ended 29/A 4
