    Al-Araji participates in the national workshop on food security strategy
    Under the patronage of the National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, and the Minister of Agriculture, Muhammad Karim Al-Khafaji, the national workshop was held to discuss the final draft of the national strategy for food security, which was hosted by the Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies, affiliated with the National Security Advisory, with the participation of the relevant authorities. 
    The workshop aims to enhance the principle of coordination, partnership and cooperation to implement the National Food Security Strategy and achieve its goals at the national level. The attendees discussed the Food Security Strategy in Iraq, which extends until 2030, to ensure that all members of society have access to sufficient, safe and sustainable food. 
    Al-Araji pointed out, in a speech during the workshop, that many countries of the world do not have water sources, but they have agriculture and export their crops, indicating that securing sufficient and sustainable food needs to provide all the requirements that support agriculture and farmers in Iraq. 
    Al-Araji stressed the importance of having a Supreme Council of Agriculture, in which the efforts of all ministries, institutions and relevant sectors participate, to draw up a strategic policy for the advancement of the agricultural sector, at a rate that extends until 2030, to secure sustainable food, stressing the support of the National Security Advisory to the Ministry of Agriculture and all relevant institutions, to achieve its strategic goals.
