[size=52]The Kurdistan Regional Government gives the green light to invest lands for endowments[/size]
[size=45]The Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs of Kurdistan Region, Pishtwan Sadiq, announced on Tuesday the ministry's approval to invest endowment properties in the administration of the Zakho region.[/size]
[size=45]In a press conference held in Zakho, Sadiq said that the ministry supervises the four local administrations in the region.[/size]
[size=45]There are four governorates in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, namely, Erbil, the capital, Sulaymaniyah, Dohuk, and Halabja, and four independent administrations, namely Rabrin, Garmian, Soran, and Zakho.[/size]
[size=45]The minister stated that the ministry owns endowments and many properties in Zakho, noting that the supervisor of the district administration put forward ideas and projects to invest these properties in accordance with Sharia and law.[/size]
[size=45]Sadiq also indicated that harnessing the best endowment properties to serve the people of Zakho for the benefit of them and the ministry, stressing that investment projects in endowments will be feasible study in the ministry.[/size]
[size=45]On a related level, the minister praised the role of clergymen of all religions and sects in maintaining peaceful coexistence in Zakho.[/size]
