And the Prime Minister’s media office quoted Al-Kazemi as saying, during his meeting with the leaders of the security services in Maysan province, that dragging problems inside Iraq or creating them in a province here or there, or involving Iraq with problems abroad is totally rejected, stressing that time will not go back.
He also warned that chaos in Iraq means its expansion in the region, pointing out that his country's stability means stability in the region, indicating that this stage is "crucial and important," saying that these circumstances should not be "exploited to spread chaos."

He said, "Today we are here in Maysan province to tell the criminals: You will receive harsh punishment, and no one believes that he can rise above the law, or seek to spread chaos without being held accountable."
He continued: We will provide all support to the judiciary in Maysan and to the security services, and everything the security forces need in order to establish security and implement the law.

These statements came, after Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi announced, yesterday, Tuesday, that he had taken quick measures to address the repercussions of the assassination of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and Major Hossam Al-Alawi, who were assassinated in Maysan Governorate, and vowed to punish the criminals, and to hold accountable all those who work to tamper with the security of Maysan Governorate and its stability.
The Maysan Governorate police had revealed the arrest of the elements protecting the security institutions before which Judge Ahmed Faisal Al-Saadi was assassinated, as well as the arrest of his escorts, and a thorough investigation was opened about the assassination to explain the facts of that incident and reveal the killers.

It is noteworthy that, on Saturday, unknown gunmen assassinated Judge Ahmed Al-Saadi, a specialist in drug cases in the Maysan Appeals Court, preceded by the assassination of the officer in the Ministry of Interior, Hossam Al-Alawi, late on Wednesday night, by unknown gunmen in the same governorate.
Hussam Al-Alawi is the brother of Wissam Al-Alawi, a leader in the "Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq" movement affiliated with the "Popular Mobilization", who was killed in October 2019 also in Maysan.
