Al-Sadr comments on the Maysan events: The current and Asa’ib are brothers, even if we refuse to ally with them

On Wednesday, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, commented on the recent assassinations in Maysan Governorate, stressing that the Sadrist movement and Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq are "brothers", even if they differ politically.
Al-Sadr said, in response to the escalation of violence and assassination in Maysan, that “the escalation is on two levels, the first is clan-based - and we have sent them people to help them solve their problems to the satisfaction of God.
He added, "The second level is the political level between (Asa'ib) and (the current) ... I am surprised that we divide politics.. No and a thousand no.. You are brothers, even if we disagree with them politically or we are not satisfied with an alliance with them. (Muhammad al-Sadr) If some of them (Muqtada) are not qualified, then reconcile away from the leaders, for you are from one father and one reference, and I still hope for some of them to save blood, as we are not among those who put political interests ahead of religious and ideological interests. And the prohibition of Muhammad is forbidden until the Day of Resurrection.”
Al-Sadr continued, "Even if targeting them (the beloved province of Maysan) and the escalation in it is a political escalation in order to bring down its governor or in order to pressure for the coalition... All of this does not analyze Iraqi blood, so beware of transgressing religion, Sharia and law."
And last Saturday (February 5), unknown gunmen assassinated Judge Ahmed Faseel, who specializes in drug cases in the Maysan Court of Appeal, preceded by the assassination of the officer in the Ministry of Interior, Hussam Al-Alawi, late Wednesday (February 2) in the same governorate.
A member of Saraya al-Salam was also killed, on Wednesday, by unidentified gunmen in the city of Al-Amarah, and he is the nephew of the leader in the Saraya, Adil Abu Ragheef, according to a security source.
The Secretary-General of the Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq movement, Qais Khazali, called on Thursday (February 3), the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, to acquit the killers of Major Hossam al-Alayawi, warning against provoking sedition.
Khazali said in a tweet on Twitter, "The hand that assassinated the martyr Hussam Al-Alawi, is the same hand that assassinated his brother, the martyr leader Wissam Al-Alawi, and his brother Issam before, and this hand only wants to stir up sedition, especially at this time."
He added, "We all have good faith in our dear brother, Mr. Muqtada al-Sadr, in declaring his innocence of these murderers, against whom arrest warrants were issued by our just judiciary, but the security services are unable to implement these orders."
Al-Khazali continued, "These criminals claim to belong to the Mujahideen Peace Brigades, and I believe that the brigades are innocent, but it is necessary to expose them and nip sedition in the bud, so that they do not continue to cover up their crimes by exploiting jihadist headlines."
Today, Wednesday, the Prime Minister and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, arrived in Maysan Governorate, accompanied by the Ministers of Defense and Interior, and a number of leaders of the security services.
On Sunday, the Supreme Judicial Council in Iraq strongly condemned the assassination of the judge in charge of drug cases in Maysan Governorate, calling on the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to reconsider the security leadership responsible for the security and stability of the province.
Subsequently, Al-Kazemi ordered the formation of the Maysan Operations Command, to assume command and control of all security services in the province, and assigned Major General Muhammad Al-Zubaidi the tasks of the operations command there.
