    Information/translation...
A report by (iCordNet) website confirmed, on Monday, that the Kurdistan Regional Government is not transparent in disclosing the exact amount of oil revenues to the public and the Kurdistan Parliament.
The report, which was translated by the "Information" agency, stated that "many Iraqi politicians and the general public in Kurdistan believe that many projects and deals of the oil industry in Iraqi Kurdistan are carried out in a non-transparent manner. Some even described it as a secret, while the Kurdistan region of Iraq is considered one of the most corrupt regions in Iraq. According to oversight bodies, Kurdish lawmakers and leaked documents revealed the loss of billions of dollars in oil revenues.
He added, “According to local and international analysts and observers, the lack of oversight mechanisms in Iraqi Kurdistan makes it a paradise for illegal financial activities by the ruling Kurdish leaders. The Barzani clan, which rules Iraqi Kurdistan, has long been accused by critics and observers of the principle of nepotism and of amassing huge wealth from trade. Oil is for the family instead of serving the population.”
For her part, PUK member Balisa Jabbar Farman considered that “the ruling of the Supreme Court in Iraq ordering the Kurdish authority in Erbil to hand over all crude oil from the Kurdistan region and neighboring regions to the federal government is a constitutional matter and that the oil deal concluded by the Kurdistan Regional Government and its income are not transparent.”
It is reported that “the Iraqi Supreme Court ruled on February 15 that the oil and gas law that regulates the oil sector in the Kurdistan region is unconstitutional, as the ruling ruled that the Kurdistan Regional Government’s oil contracts with oil companies and foreign parties are void and the Kurdish authority in Erbil must hand over all crude oil From the Kurdistan Regional Government to the federal government.” finished/ 25 z
