During the first week of March 2022, the Iraq Stock Exchange organized four trading sessions from Monday, 28/2/2022 to Thursday, 3/3/2022, indicating that the Sunday session, corresponding to 27/02/2022, was not organized because it coincided with an official holiday.
A statement to the Iraq Stock Exchange received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said that "the number of shares traded during this week amounted to more than (25) billion shares," noting that "the value of shares traded this week amounted to more than (16) billion dinars." ".
He added, "The trading index in the market for the first session of the week closed at (596.21) points, while the index closed at (601.41) points at the end of the week, achieving a decrease of (0.86%) from its closing at the beginning of the session," stressing that "during the week Executing more than (2000) buying and selling contracts on the shares of companies listed in the market.
