    Information / Baghdad...
Independent MP Ali Turki confirmed that Iraq imports gas, even if it had the required quantities, to invest it by operating power stations, pointing out that the speech of the President of the Regional Government, Masrour Barzani about Kurdistan’s intention to export gas, is nothing but an attempt to feel the pulse of the government and parliament regarding this breach.

. Turki told Al-Maalouma, "The government imports large quantities of gas, while Masrour Barzani's talk about exporting it may be for the media only and is not feasible."
He added, "If Iraq is able to export gas, the first is to supply its power plants instead of going to import from other countries, and getting rid of the current energy crisis."
And he indicated that "Barzani's statement regarding the export of gas may hide behind him an attempt to feel the pulse to know the government and parliament's reaction to such violations, especially since the Federal Court's decision is clear on this file." finished 25
