Al-Rasheed Bank issues instructions regarding accepting the security services guarantee for loans
Shafaq News/ Al-Rasheed Bank announced on Wednesday that it has issued instructions to accept the sponsorship of employees of the ministries of (Defense and Interior) whose salaries are domiciled with the bank.
In a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, the bank's media office stated that accepting the guarantee is for the purpose of documenting citizens' housing loans, repairing housing units, maintaining residential buildings, small projects, and other other loans.
He added that the application for these loans through the bank's branches exclusively, and there is no intermediary between him and the customer.
Al-Rasheed Bank announced, on the seventh of the month of April, that it had accepted the sponsorship of the employees of the Ministry of Defense, the Interior and the security services.
The government banks in Iraq did not accept the sponsorship of the employees of the Defense and the Interior, and required the civil employee's sponsorship of the beneficiaries of the loans granted by these banks.
And the bank’s media office said in a statement at the time that “Al-Rasheed Bank issued its instructions to accept the sponsorship of the employees of the ministries of defense and interior and the security services of all types and formations (officers and ranks) whose salaries are domiciled with the bank.”
He explained that "among the instructions is to cover (50%) of the net salary, the payment of the installment and the monthly interest, and in case of insufficiency, more than one guarantor can be submitted."
