Shafaq News/ An informed political source said, on Wednesday, that Representative "Laith Al-Dulaimi" has returned again as a member of the Iraqi Parliament for the Sovereignty Alliance led by Khamis Al-Khanjar.
The source told Shafaq News Agency, "Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi agreed to withdraw the resignation of Laith al-Dulaimi to return as a deputy from the Sovereignty Alliance again."
In turn, Al-Dulaimi confirmed, in a statement received to Shafaq News Agency, that he returned to the Parliament as a deputy in the Sovereignty Alliance and not as a representative of the "Progress" party, praising at the same time, the Speaker, his two deputies and members of Parliament for "addressing the confusion that occurred on the issue of dismissal after the intervention of political parties and a pause." An honorable representative of the brothers and sisters.
Al-Dulaimi added, "President Al-Halbousi withdrew the letter of resignation," stressing that "I am now exercising my legislative duty as a deputy in the Iraqi parliament."
