[size=30]The triple link will cover 6% of the target production of Iranian electricity and gas, which will cover 32%.. Will Iraq reach 25 gigabytes?

    Yes Iraq: Baghdad

The Director General of the General Electricity Transmission Company for the Northern Region, Khaled Ghazai Al-Maadidi, signed the final operational agreement for the connection with the Turkish Ministry of Energy represented by the “Tiyas” Electric Power Transmission Company.
The Ministry of Electricity said in a statement, that this step will achieve an important step in the stability and reliability of the system, especially for the northern governorates.
The agreement allows Iraq to supply power by 300 megawatts as a first stage to the national grid, through the electrical interconnection line (Carrot - Mosul / 400 kV) during the next few period.
The 400 megawatts represent about 1.6 percent of the 25,000 megawatts of production that the Ministry of Electricity intends to reach this summer.
On the other hand, the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity hopes to obtain 500 megawatts of interconnection with the Gulf through Kuwait, as well as obtaining about 700 megawatts of Egyptian electricity through the link with Jordan, so that the total linkage capacity that Iraq will obtain from Turkey, the Gulf and Jordan, more than 1.5 gigawatts, which represents 6% of the production capacity that Iraq wants to reach this summer.
The Ministry of Electricity had achieved a production of about 21,000 megawatts last summer, and after the Iranian gas emissions declined from 50 to 8 million cubic meters only, the Ministry of Electricity lost about 6.5 gigawatts of energy, reducing production to less than 15 thousand megawatts.
Iranian gas began to gradually return and rise after a year of negotiations and discussions, until a spokesman for the Ministry of Electricity revealed that Iranian gas had risen to 38 million cubic meters.
With the increase in the quantities of gas supplied to 38 million cubic meters, this means the return of 75% of Iranian gas, that is, an addition of more than 4.5 gigawatts, meaning that production is currently more than 19.5 gigawatts.
By adding 1.5 gigawatts of electrical connection, this means an increase in production to about 21 thousand megawatts, which means that about 4 thousand megawatts will remain to achieve the goal of 25,000 megawatts.
The 4,000 megawatts could come by pumping about 25 million cubic meters of Iranian gas, in addition to the current 38 million cubic metres, i.e. an increase of gas to more than 60 million cubic metres.
However, the Minister of Electricity confirmed that we reached an agreement on supplying in sufficient quantities, as we agreed on 50 million cubic meters (per day) during the four hot summer months.
