Independent MP Hadi Al-Salami considered, today, Saturday, that the adoption of the emergency support law for food security and development is an "urgent necessity for the interest" of the Iraqi citizen.
Al-Salami said in an interview with "Mawazine News", "We support the adoption of the law, especially after the last financial control report on warnings that the wheat crop will run out."
He added, "The food security law does not compensate for the budget, and the absence of the budget law is not new. In 2014, there was no budget and it negatively impacted the economic reality in the country. Therefore, the food security law is an urgent necessity for the benefit of citizens." Ended 29/N33
