The Ministry of Finance revealed, on Monday, the postponement of the payment of debts owed by farmers and farmers to the Agricultural Bank, who wish to postpone them, for a period of two years.
Finance Minister Ali Allawi told the official news agency, "According to Article Thirteen of the Food Security Law, it was decided to postpone the payment of government debts owed by farmers and farmers who wish to postpone the repayment of loans for a period of two years from those whose loans do not exceed 400 million dinars from the loans of the Agricultural Bank and the Initiative agriculture in all governorates of Iraq.
He added, "The text of the article also included that these debts would not be charged any interest during the delay period." Ended 29/R77
