    The Ministry of Planning announced, on Tuesday, the latest details of the job number project that it launched recently, noting that employees who do not have a job number will stop their salaries next month until their data is completed.
    The spokesman for the Ministry of Planning, Abdul-Zahra Al-Hindawi, said in a statement to the newspaper, "Al-Sabah" and seen by "The Information", that "work on the job number project began in 2017, but it stopped and did not proceed at that time," noting that "work on this project was carried out." It actually started in early 2021 and a higher committee was formed headed by the Minister of Planning, and this committee set the mechanisms and specified work periods, after which a sub-committee was formed headed by the head of the Central Statistical Organization for Diwani Order 55, and the committee began its work in early 2021.”
    Al-Hindawi added, "There were only 500 names in the job information bank or the platform that were included in this list, or a little more than this number, and the committee worked under the direct supervision of the Minister of Planning over the past periods and we reached very advanced stages to complete and complete the platform's work." Noting that "the total number has reached 3 million and 200 thousand job numbers on the platform."
    He stressed that "we have reached very advanced stages of completing the platform's work and completing it last April, as the Council of Ministers issued a decision obligating all ministries to provide the Ministry of Planning with the data of their employees, pledging to hold accountable those who are reluctant," noting that "there is great cooperation by state institutions, and all Almost all institutions provided us with the details of their employees, and the Council of Ministers has set next July as a date for the completion of this platform, and salaries will be linked by the Ministry of Finance to this platform.”
