Seven political parties and independent representatives meet in Baghdad to unify visions
Shafaq News / Seven political parties and a number of independent representatives held a meeting in Baghdad, on Thursday evening, to discuss the latest political developments, and agree to unify a common vision on the next steps.
An informed source told Shafaq News Agency that the "Consultative Council, the Communist Party, the National House Party, the Descending Movement Take My Right, the Iraqi House Party, the Social Democratic Movement, the Iraqi Wa'ad Party, and a number of independent representatives (Sajjad Salem, Nissan Al-Zayer, Daoud Aidan, Muhammad Anouz) and others, participated in the meeting.
This comes in the wake of an extraordinary parliamentary session held by the Parliament, headed by Muhammad al-Halbousi, and attended by 202 deputies, which saw 64 new deputies take the constitutional oath, instead of the Sadrist bloc's deputies who resigned last week in response to an invitation from the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr.
