    Yes Iraq: Baghdad

Today, Tuesday, the Central Bank considered that it revived the housing sector in Iraq through the initiative to grant loans, at a time when experts confirm that loans caused inflation and a rise in housing prices.
The deputy governor of the bank, Ammar Khalaf, said that “for the purpose of reducing the housing crisis, the bank has set the loan amounts to reach 5 trillion dinars for each one of the Real Estate Bank and the Housing Bank, which began granting loans to citizens to purchase housing units.”
He continued, "The bank is also continuing the initiative of a trillion private banks to provide housing loans with very subsidized interest and with a repayment period of up to 20 years," stressing that "the lending initiative has revived the housing sector in Iraq."
