The leader of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, confirmed today, Wednesday, that serious dialogues begin with a return to the constitution and respect for constitutional institutions.

Al-Maliki said in a tweet via Twitter, which was followed by Alsumaria News, that "the serious dialogues from which we hope to resolve differences and restore things to their rightful place begin with a return to the constitution and respect for constitutional institutions."

A short while ago, Al-Sadr said in a speech broadcast by Alsumaria satellite channel, that "the current revolution is not for the sake of power," indicating that he had not yet decided whether to run in the upcoming elections or not.

He pointed out that he wanted to form a national government, "and it was obstructed by malicious lawsuits."

He added, "Whoever wants to kill me, as in the recent leaks, I can only guide them."

Al-Sadr added, "Al-Sadr: I did not say the Sadrist movement is above suspicion, and all of you know the Kaskosa," stressing that "the revolution will not exclude the corrupt from the movement."

He continued, "They took advantage of my presence to end corruption."

While al-Sadr called for "early parliamentary elections after the dissolution of parliament," he stressed that "the sit-in will continue until the demands are achieved."
