The large blocs agree to grant the position of Deputy Speaker of Parliament to the independents

Baghdad / bright news
Major forces within the coordination framework are talking about ceding the position of Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives to the independents after securing the position of Prime Minister, and calling on them to choose the appropriate candidate in order to present him to a vote when the sessions resume.
A member of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Ali Al-Fatlawi, said in a statement to Al-Mada that "the coordinating framework does not want to exclude or marginalize any party in the political process, especially the independents."
Al-Fatlawi added, "The agreement has been granted to grant the position of the first deputy speaker of the House of Representatives after the resignation of Hakim Al-Zamili, to independents who have a voice and opinion that should not be absent or marginalized."
He pointed out, "Talking that independents are affiliated with political parties is incorrect, as a large part of them have independence, entity and special ideas and were elected to the parliament."
Al-Fatlawi pointed out that "the coordination framework's relinquishment of the position comes from altruism and partnership, and the lack of unipolarity."
He stressed, "What encouraged us to relinquish the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives also is that the position of Prime Minister has today become part of the coordinating framework's share, which is still adherent to the nomination of Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani until the present time."
Al-Fatlawi went on to say that "the independents have their right to nominate the person they find suitable for the position of Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, and he will be presented to the vote in order to gain confidence."
For his part, the representative of the State of Law coalition, Thaer fearful, said in a statement to (Al-Mada), that "our position is with any measure that would open new horizons to end the political blockage."
He added scary, that «granting the independents the position of deputy speaker of the House of Representatives will contribute to moving away from the quotas that led Iraq to what it has reached now».
He pointed out that "the coordination framework, from the beginning, did not adhere to this position, and the State of Law coalition did not demand it, but finds it a gateway to resolving the political crisis."
And between scary, that «the independents had previously had a chance to form a government, but they did not succeed in that, and today we are trying to preserve their presence by giving them this position».
He continues, "The coordinating framework has no problem in relinquishing the position that some may think of as a spoil that must be adhered to."
And it ended frighteningly, that “everyone is waiting for what the negotiations will reach and the resumption of parliament sessions in order to vote on a candidate for the position, and then proceed with the rest of the benefits, whether the election of the president of the republic or the formation of the government.”
Earlier, some media sources revealed that there was an agreement to nominate independent MP Hassan Al-Mandalawi for the position of First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.
The position of the first deputy speaker of parliament has been devoid of a certain personality, for more than three months after the resignation of Deputy Hakim al-Zamili, who is affiliated with the resigned Sadrist bloc, and whose resignation Muhammad al-Halbousi agreed to in mid-June.
