The Iraqi Stock Exchange announced, on Tuesday, that the General Authority of the Federation of Arab Securities Markets, elected him to be a member of the Federation for the period from 2022 to 2024.
And the market explained in a statement that this came after the annual meeting that took place today, Tuesday 1/11/2022 via the Zoom application at 11 am - attended by the executive directors of the Arab financial markets and member Arab clearing companies.
Among the paragraphs of the meeting was the election of a new board of directors for the period 2022-2024, and based on the decisions of the Board of Governors, the nomination was made for the elections.
The market received 14 votes out of 24 eligible to vote for the next period. In addition to the following stock exchanges and clearing houses:
Iraq Stock Exchange.
Saudi Tadawul market.
Bahrain market.
Amman Stock Exchange.
The Egyptian Stock Exchange.
Tunis Stock Exchange.
The Egyptian Clearing Company and the Saudi Depository Company.
The Muscat market will be organized after a year as the seat of the next council.
The Iraq Stock Exchange has been a member of the Federation's General Assembly since 2005 and has participated in a number of committees related to governance and standards.
