Baghdad / Obelisk: Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhibis, met, on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, the Saudi Deputy Minister of Transport, Rumaih bin Muhammad Al-Rumaih, in Egypt, on the sidelines of the meeting of Arab transport ministers in its thirty-fifth session, chaired by Iraq.
A statement from the ministry quoted Muheibis as saying, “Many issues were discussed regarding transportation between the two countries, increasing trade exchange through the Arar port, and increasing the entry of buses for pilgrims and Umrah performers.”
The minister called on the Saudi side to activate the maritime transport agreement, in addition to opening air transport lines between Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
