    Shafaq News/ The head of the Yazidi parliamentary bloc, Nayef Khalaf Sido, accused, on Sunday, the governor of Nineveh of “marginalizing and excluding” the Yazidis in appointing the thousand jobs allocated to the governorate.
    “In previous conferences and meetings, we stressed the need to do justice to the people of the Yazidi nationality by giving them their entitlement to real job appointments, equivalent to their percentage in Nineveh Governorate,” Saido said in a statement received by Shafaq News agency. .
    He added, "We are surprised by the Nineveh governor's insistence on marginalizing the people of the Yazidi nationality and their clear exclusion in the percentage of appointments within the one thousand job grades stipulated in the Emergency Support for Food Security Law."
    Sido explained, "The presence of Yazidis in Nineveh governorate is equivalent to more than a quarter of the governorate's population, and it was fair to give them 150 job grades, but we were surprised that only 35 grades were allocated to Yazidis."
    Sido called on the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, to intervene in the matter directly and instruct to open an investigation into the grades file in Nineveh Governorate, “because administrative and financial corruption has reached a stage that cannot be tolerated.”
