    The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, stressed Iraq's balance in managing its foreign interests.
    Al-Hakim said, during his meeting with the French ambassador in Baghdad, Eric Chevalier, in a statement received by (Al-Oula News), that “they discussed developments in the political scene in Iraq and the region, bilateral relations between Baghdad and Paris, and files of common interest, and we heard from the ambassador his country’s support for the Sudanese government,” stressing On Iraq's balance in managing its foreign interests, and its openness to everyone in accordance with its national interest, sovereignty, and the independence of its political decision.
    He called on everyone to invest in the opportunities offered by Iraq in the areas of construction and services, stressing that Iraq is the gateway to stability in the region and the world.
    And he indicated that the security challenge facing Iraq requires measures of a special kind commensurate with the nature of the challenge and the need to maintain security and military operations to eliminate pockets and hotbeds of terrorism.
