On Tuesday, the Minister of Communications, Hayam Al-Yasiri, clarified the mechanism for applying the subsidized subscription, while confirming that the internet supply offices are obligated to give the subscriber 10 Kiks for free.
Al-Yasiri said in an interview with the official news agency, "When a citizen registers with the owner of the tower with a subsidized subscription, the owner of the tower is obligated to give the subscriber 10 kiks for free," pointing out that "this procedure includes subscribers to the home service."
And she pointed out that "the citizen who wants to increase the subscription, the ministry provides him with 100 cakes at a price of 15 thousand dinars," indicating that "upon subscription, the application will be activated automatically to check the service and measure the speed."
And Al-Yasiri announced, last Saturday, the launch of the subsidized internet service, starting from the 1st of next February.
