Today, Wednesday, the head of the National Coalition, Iyad Allawi, discussed with the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, the Kurdish differences and the need to hold a Kurdish dialogue and to resolve all differences.
The media office of the head of the National Coalition stated, "Allawi received the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, in order to discuss Kurdish differences and the need to hold a Kurdish dialogue and to resolve all differences," according to the statement received by (Baghdad Today).
And he added, "Allawi stressed, during the meeting, Rashid, the need for unity of the national ranks, convergence of points of view, and support for the government in implementing its governmental program in a manner that meets the aspirations of our honorable Iraqi people.”
And that "the meeting discussed the issue of Kurdish differences and the need to hold a Kurdish dialogue and to resolve all differences and maintain the stability of Kurdistan," and the two parties stressed that "this matter will reflect positively on the general situation in the country.”
Yesterday, Tuesday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani and the National Coalition, Iyad Allawi, discussed holding a national dialogue in the presence of political leaders to discuss a proposal to amend some constitutional paragraphs.
