According to a statement issued by the regional government after the meeting, followed by "NAS" (February 1, 2023), it was stated that "in the first item of the meeting, the head and members of the delegation presented the negotiation program between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government, for approval by the Council of Ministers, and a delegation was assigned Negotiating to visit Baghdad and resume meetings in light of this approved programme.

He added, "Prime Minister Masrour Barzani renewed the Kurdistan region's keenness to resolve issues radically and on the basis of the constitution and the agreement of the parties to form the government according to the ministerial program of the new Iraqi government."

Barzani added, "The Kurdistan region and the delegation of the regional government have done what is necessary to reach an agreement, so we expect the federal government to abide by the agreements."

"Unfortunately, the Federal Supreme Court is being used to undermine any agreement with the federal government to resolve these issues," he said.

The Prime Minister, according to the statement, expressed his hope to approve the 2023 budget bill as soon as possible and to provide constitutional rights for the Kurdistan region.

Earlier, a statement of the Kurdistan Regional Council of Ministers, of which "NAS" received a copy, (February 1, 2023), stated that "Prime Minister Masrour Barzani will meet today, Wednesday, with the ministers of the Kurdistan Regional Government, to discuss several issues."

He added, "The first item of the files relates to presenting the agenda for negotiations between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government, which will be presented by the head and members of the Kurdistan Regional Government delegation."

He continued, "As for the second part, it will be devoted to presenting the issue of the stock market in the Kurdistan region, and in the last part, the Prime Minister's Office will deal with the issue of resolving the problem of bank guarantee for the stalled projects of the Kurdistan Regional Government."
