The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, affirmed today, Thursday, that Iraq is open to constructive and developmental partnerships, during his reception of ambassadors of several European countries.

Al-Sudani's office said, in a statement received by Alsumaria News, that the latter "received separately the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, Martin Jaeger, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain, Pedro Martinez, and the Ambassador of the Vatican City, Meta Leskovar, to discuss ways of joint cooperation, strengthening bilateral relations and developing common interests."

The meetings witnessed the Prime Minister's affirmation of "the Iraqi government's keenness to develop existing relations, and develop them towards everything that serves the interests of the Iraqi people and friendly peoples," referring to "Iraq's openness to constructive and developmental partnerships, which take into consideration cooperation in facing global and regional challenges." And what is related to reviving the economy and confronting climate change and its effects.

Al-Sudani also affirmed, according to the statement, "Iraq's commitment to a balanced policy in the face of global and regional crises, and its effective role in consolidating peace and stability, and strengthening the capacities of brotherly and friendly peoples to face various economic and social challenges."
