    Minister of Finance, Taif Sami, and Director of the Arab Monetary Fund, Abd al-Rahman al-Hamidi, discussed, on Monday, Iraq's steps in joining the financial system among the Arab countries.

    And the Ministry of Finance stated, in a statement received by Mawazine News, that "on the sidelines of the activities of the 34th conference of the Arab Parliamentary Union held in Baghdad, Finance Minister Taif Sami Muhammad received, at the ministry's headquarters, the director of the Arab Monetary Fund, Abdul Rahman Al-Hamidi, and his accompanying delegation."

    According to the statement, "During the meeting, they reviewed the most important economic and financial challenges facing the countries of the region, as well as the joint bilateral relations between Iraq and the Arab Monetary Fund, and pushed towards developing mutual cooperation in the field of finance and economy."
