{Local: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Water Resources announced that the water revenues coming to Iraq are "very little."
Director General of Dams and spokesman for the Ministry of Water Resources, Ali Radhi, told Al-Furat News agency: "Iraq did not receive any water due to the opening of the dams," noting that "there is a large storage vacuum, and we are ready for any quantities of water that come to us."
He added, "The condition of our dams is very good and ready to absorb any amount of water."
Radi stressed, "Iraq's water revenues are very few, and we hope that there will be rain in the northern part and the melting of snow, in addition to the negotiating file with the upstream countries."
