[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - The State of Law Parliamentary Bloc called on the delegation of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) to put pressure on the upstream countries to ensure Iraq's water share.

The media office of the head of the State of the Law parliamentary parliamentary bloc said in a statement: “The head of the State of the Law coalition parliamentary bloc, Atwan Al-Atwani, met at the bloc’s headquarters in the House of Representatives, the delegation of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) headed by the director of the Office of Political and Analytical Affairs in the mission Manoj Mathew, and during the meeting took place discussing the challenges facing the work of the new government, including the water and climate crisis , and ways to address them.The

two sides discussed the file of supporting the private sector and the importance of completing the necessary legislation to advance it and enable it to take its real role in achieving sustainable development and economic integration.

Al-Atwani demanded "the representative of the United Nations to put pressure on the upstream countries to guarantee Iraq's share of water according to the principle of sharing the damage between the riparian countries."

He stressed, "The state of law is keen to cooperate with the parliamentary blocs within the House of Representatives to implement legislation that directly affects the life of the citizen and fulfills his legitimate aspirations, as well as approving suspended laws according to a specific period of time.”/ End 7 To receive more news, subscribe to our channel on Telegram[/rtl]
