The Housing Fund announced the granting of more than 5 thousand loans during the past two months of January and February, indicating that the number of absolute loans during the past year reached 37 thousand loans.
A source in the Fund's media office said, in a statement reported by "Al-Sabah" newspaper, that "the number of loans granted by the Housing Fund during the past year amounted to 37,131 loans," explaining that the amount of loans amounted to more than one trillion and 600 million dinars
. Granted by the Fund during the past two months of January and February amounted to 5566 loans.
The source pointed out that "the central bank's grant allocated to the fund amounted to 5 trillion dinars for the period from 2016 until last year," pointing to "the increase in loans granted after facilitating procedures in all its stages and moving to electronic work, in addition to activating the breast health system electronically, which led to To eliminate the administrative red tape that accompanies the granting of loans.
