    On Saturday, Electricity Minister Ziyad Ali Fadel spoke of quick and implementable plans for his ministry that will be included in the budgets.

    And the ministry stated in a statement, which “NAS” received a copy of (March 11, 2023), that “following the visit of the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani, to Diyala Governorate, and based on his directives, the Minister of Electricity, Ziyad Ali Fadel, conducted a visit to Diyala Governorate, in continuation of his visits to the governorates and standing on the readiness of their plans.” for next summer."  
      
    She added, "The minister was accompanied by a number of general managers of energy production, transmission and distribution, general managers of operation and control and the technical department, and officials of the transmission and distribution branches."  
      
    The ministry stated that, "at the beginning of the visit, the governor of Diyala reviewed the challenges that were dealt with in terms of security and services, and the electricians were the first to take the initiative and contribute to serving the regions after the war on terrorism and restoring life and the displaced to their cities through the reconstruction of stations, lines, towers and electricity distribution networks, and they contributed greatly to controlling The security file through lighting and power supply projects.  
      
    The minister said, "This visit came as a continuation of Al-Sudani's visit, and we had meetings with the deputies of the province, and we carefully studied that Diyala needs a plan that we have completed and will be approved by a working paper that includes, in part, quick treatments such as resolving bottlenecks, achieving availability in transport stations, and setting up mobile and stations in pregnancy centers, as well as Changing the capacities of the transformers to a greater extent, and the implementation of the plan will be monitored by everyone and will be completed as soon as possible.  
      
    He pointed out that "the visit aims at real solutions, and we granted the minister's powers to the general directors and the entire formations to speed up the procedures, and he clearly presented that the problems of Diyala are concentrated by relying on one feeding and one generation, and we must create reliability and availability by linking it to the national network, and strengthening the sources of feeding for production and networks for Diyala." ".  
      
    He stressed, "We were honored by the procedures for establishing the 400 kV Mouradia station, providing mobile phones, and the abundance of governing materials to maintain the network in the warehouses."  
      
    The statement pointed out that during his discussion, the minister indicated that "the central and local government, whenever they are consistent and their work is coordinated, the service will be ideal, and with you we will draw realistic solutions and we will implement them in Muqdadiya, Jalawla, Khanaqin, Balad Rose and Buhriz, and the western and eastern Baquba neighborhoods, Al-Salam, Jabara, Khanaqin and others." The minister directed the establishment of "multiple transformer repair workshops to distance the districts and sub-districts from the center, and to divide the maintenance sectors and centers to facilitate the provision of service."
