Rashid: The fate of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region is linked and inseparable from each other

Shafaq News/ The President of the Republic, Abd al-Latif Jamal Rashid, renewed, on Thursday, his call to resolve the disputes and outstanding issues between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government through dialogue, stressing that the fate of the region is linked to one another and does not separate from each other.
Rashid said, in his speech during the opening ceremony of the Barzan exhibition, in Erbil, that the history of our people is full of many glories, and throughout the years of our patriotic and national struggle this struggle produced many greats, and thanks to their struggles, our national and Kurdish approach continued to achieve the legitimate rights of our Kurdish people, and we remained a living people. We are proud of our leaders, adding that they have always existed as a shining star in the sky of this people, and all generations are proud of them.
He pointed out that the events and data in the region in general and the country in particular present many challenges to the regional government and the federal government, and this region (the region) was suffering from wars and political instability, and today there are other circumstances that we are all trying to take advantage of the opportunity for more rapprochement within a peaceful and brotherly dialogue to build the country again.
And he continued, the time has come for the components of Iraq to sit down, put all differences aside, build a healthy environment, rehabilitate the country's infrastructure from a good foundation, and build Iraq, especially creating stability and a political atmosphere for generations by harnessing all the wealth of Iraq.
He pointed out that there are many problems and differences between Erbil and Baghdad, and there are bonds of cooperation, stressing the end of all differences and the creation of a political program to guarantee the rights of the people of Kurdistan, so that Kurdistan is an important factor for stability.
He pointed out that the fate of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region is linked and not separated from each other, explaining that Iraq will not be stable without the stability of Kurdistan and that the regional government needs the federal government to face challenges.
