    Economy News _ Baghdad
The Director General of Customs in the Kurdistan Region, Samal Abdul Rahman, said that the monthly revenues of the border crossings of the Kurdistan Regional Government range between 110-130 billion dinars.
Abdul Rahman told Voice of America, followed by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "according to the Iraqi budget bill, as of January 1, 2023, 50 percent of customs points revenues must be paid to the federal government. They have a reference budget for all these revenues. According to this budget, they are recorded All revenues. They record the monthly budget that they send to the Kurdistan region and deduct 50 percent of the revenues.”
He added that the difference between now and before is that all revenues were in the Kurdistan region, but now half of them must return to the central government.
He referred to the revenues that must be returned to the central government according to the Iraqi budget law, such as customs, gates, nationality and residence.
