The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan confirmed, on Saturday, that the principle of the Kurdistan Democratic Party is to worship money and give priority to its partisan interests, while noting that the budget came to guarantee the rights of the citizens of the region.
The leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Faiq Yazidi, said in an interview with Mawazine News, "The principle of the Democratic Party is the worship of money and giving priority to its partisan interests over the interests of the Kurds and the Kurdistan region."
Yazidi added, "The approval of the federal budget is in the interest of Kurdistan and the rights of its citizens," noting that "it is important to ensure the oil revenues of the Kurdish people instead of going into the pockets of the corrupt in the region."
He pointed out that "the time has come to resolve the differences between the center and the region, including financial and oil," calling on the regional government to "commit to what is related to the export of oil."
Yazidi continued, "We will work to resolve the oil file between the center and the region, and the budget law paves the way for that," noting that "it is important to ensure the oil revenues of the Kurdish people instead of going to the pockets of the corrupt in the region."
He added, "The National Union will not allow the Democratic Party to venture into the rights of the Kurdish people," noting that "the miserable mentality of the Democratic Party makes it practice its abhorrent policy against the Kurdish people." Ended 29/M99
