The Parliamentary Oil, Gas and Wealth Committee confirmed competition for international companies to invest in Iraq.
Committee member Dhurgham al-Maliki said in a press interview seen by “Takadum” that “all countries that seek to strengthen their economy have reached the world level through investment from international companies, and that Iraq today occupies the forefront in the possibilities of establishing, building and connecting.”
He added, "The country today is going through a great economic situation through youth energies and financial abundance, as it can seek the help of international and local companies to establish any economic project."
He pointed out that "international companies are competing today to reach investment in Iraq in all fields, and that the country is ready and has the potential."
