    [rtl]Baghdad - Iraq today:

The Parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee called on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to clarify what was agreed upon with the Kuwaiti side and to wait to implement "any decision that harms the interest of Iraq."

Committee member Karim Aliwi Al-Muhammadawi said in a statement, “We call on the Iraqi Foreign Minister to clarify what was agreed upon with the Kuwaiti side during his visit to Baghdad regarding the Iraqi lands in Umm Qasr so that the Iraqi people and the House Representatives can be informed of all the details and wait to implement any decision that harms the interest of the homeland.”

Al-Muhammadawi said: “We demand the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to send all the decisions and minutes of the committees previously and currently formed with the Kuwaiti and international side to review them and re-review them in a way that serves the interest of the country, and we did not accept giving up one inch of the land of Iraq. ”

He added, "The people should not be a victim of unjust decisions issued against Iraq after the invasion of Kuwait. They were implemented during the era of previous governments and caused important parts of the country to be cut off, as there are several decisions that need to be reviewed by the House of Representatives and a vote on decisions that preserve Iraq's land and wealth, in addition to important decisions." From the government to wait to implement any decision that harms the country and to hold accountable all those who caused harm to the interests of Iraq and its people, and the government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs must be aware of the seriousness of this.[/rtl]
