    Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir Abdullahian, confirmed that the presence of terrorists on the borders of Kurdistan - Iran and their actions against the security of his country is dangerous.[/rtl]

    [rtl] The Iranian Foreign Ministry quoted Abdullahian as saying during his meeting with the head of the Iraqi Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafel Talabani: “The Islamic Republic of Iran wants an independent and prosperous Iraq.”[/rtl]
    [rtl] He added: "The presence of terrorists in the Kurdistan region and on the border with Iran and their actions against Iran's security is dangerous. In contravention of the Iraqi constitution and mutual friendly relations, no party may harm the security of Iraq's neighbors." [/rtl]
    [rtl]Abdullahian pointed to the strong relations between Tehran and Baghdad, stressing the acceleration of the implementation of the security agreement between the two countries. During the meeting that brought together the two parties, the President of the Iraqi Patriotic Union of Kurdistan expressed his appreciation for the continued support provided by the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Iraqi government and people, and described Iran as the strongest supporter of the Iraqi people, saying, “We are proud of our people and of the friendly relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.”He also referred to the developments taking place in the Kurdistan region and the strengthening of this region's relations with the central government in Iraq, and to his party's measures to increase security on the borders of the Kurdistan region.[/rtl]
    [rtl] He stressed that Iraq will not allow its territory to be a launching pad for harming countries in the region, especially the Islamic Republic of Iran. In turn, the President of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, confirmed that the Kurdistan Region is committed to the security agreement between Iraq and Iran, indicating that he will not allow any security threat to Iran to arise emanating from the region. [/rtl]
    [rtl]During his meeting with the Iranian ambassador to Iraq, “Mohammed Kazem Al Sadiq,” the two sides discussed the security agreement between Iraq and Iran, Erbil-Baghdad relations, and in order to resolve the outstanding problems between them. The deadline granted by Tehran to the Iraqi government to disarm the Iranian Kurdish opposition stationed on the border ends on September 19. Abbas Nilfaroushan, Deputy General Operations in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, renewed Tehran's threats to attack the sites of the Kurdish parties that are based in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, indicating that the Revolutionary Guard forces will return to what he described as “the previous situation to protect the interests of the Iranian people,” according to what was reported. Iranian Tasnim Agency.It is noteworthy that last year, Iran carried out attacks using missiles and drones on the sites and headquarters of the Kurdish parties opposing it, located in northern Iraq.[/rtl]
