    Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, agreed today, Tuesday, with Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari to form a committee to address the problems of the Iraqi community in Tehran.
    The media office of the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives stated in a statement received by Al-Eqtisad News, “The Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, was briefed today on the conditions of the Iraqi community residing in Iran, on the sidelines of his official visit to Tehran.”
    He added, "Al-Mandalawi listened to the problems facing the community, the most prominent of which were related to (forcibly displaced people), specifically the problems of granting them citizenship, doing justice to the families of martyrs, the right to vote in elections, accelerating the enactment of a draft law on the return of documents bearing the pseudonyms of immigrants and immigrants, and assisting white card holders by granting them pass".
    He continued, "Al-Mandalawi made a phone call to the Iraqi Minister of Interior to find out the needs of the community inside their home country, and to solve them as quickly as possible," noting that "it was agreed to form a committee with full powers to go to Iran and solve all the problems they face."
    Al-Mandalawi stressed that he "will personally and permanently follow up on the work of the committee to provide all the support it needs in order to resolve it completely."
