A parliamentary source said, today, Sunday, that the Parliament session has been adjourned after a lack of agreement on the candidate for the new speaker of the House of Representatives.
The source said in an interview with Mawazine News, “The House of Representatives adjourned its session without choosing a Speaker of Parliament due to a verbal altercation between First Representative Mohsen Al-Mandalawi and the representatives of the Taqadum Alliance.”
He pointed out that "Mandalawi adjourned the session after there was no consensus on the candidate for the position of Speaker of Parliament."
